So last week episode was the merge episode. I’m never too sure about merge episodes. On the one hand, I always feel that the game really begins with the merge. On the other ones, this episode is usually quite predictable (as well as the two-three following ones on the bad seasons). This year, with two tribes that have no “tribe spirit” we have not one, not two, but three cross-tribe alliances right after the merge! Of course, not all of them will hold (wait, the Erinn-Joe one is already gone), and people will betray people, and by people I mean J.T. and Stephen as they ended up on two alliances, Continue reading »
Yeah, Survivor is back, and no I didn’t miss an episode. Episode 6 was the recrap episode, which was actually interesting for the first time in 18 seasons (people from CBS have finally understood that a summary of past episodes was useless, as people that don’t follow show don’t care about one, and people that follow it don’t need one). So, this week it’s back to business. The merge is around the corner and things seem more unpredictable than ever this season (and as Probst hinted, they will be unpredictable for most of the time until the end)… Jalapao tribe: Joe: We finally saw Joe’s personality and strategy. I especially loved Continue reading »
A Survivor milestone last night: UF got mentioned on Survivor!!! I quote from memory “Yeah, UF has lots of pretty girls.” A statement with which I concur. But that didn’t do any good to Spencer who was sent packing home…Apart from that, nothing very special on this episode, except the “secret alliance” plot that thickens, and that makes me think that it will indeed play a big part later on this season. And it better works for three members of that alliance that can be on the odds with their tribes. -the Jalapao tribe: Joe: Does Joe have a personality at all? I’m still not sure. I hope they get Continue reading »
Ok, I gotta admit something. I am a huge fan of the show Survivor, I don’t think I have missed one single episode since day 1 (ok, maybe I missed one or two, but no more). Don’t get me wrong, I usually don’t like reality shows (except the ones that are so bad they’re good if you see what I mean) but I really genuinely love Survivor. Mostly because I don’t consider it a reality show, for me it’s really a game, and the best strategy game I know of. I have to admit I’d love to be on Survivor, not for the 15 minutes of fame, especially not for Continue reading »
